After the ruckus in 8 cities of UP last Friday i.e. on Friday, the Popular Front of India (PFI) has started tightening its grip. People associated with this organization have been arrested. Director General of UP ATS has asked all the SSPs of UP for information related to PFI and its linked organizations. Resume of every member of these organizations is to be sent on point 8.

Violence broke out in several cities in Uttar Pradesh after the controversial statement of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After starting from Kanpur, the name of Popular Front of India (PFI) came to the fore. The link organizations of PFI are SDPI, Campus Front of India, All India Imam Council, Rehab India Foundation, NCHRO.

The case of a missing 17-year-old Hindu girl from Santacruz railway station has taken a grave turn as her father gives an ultimatum of ‘Fast Unto Death’ if his daughter is not found soon. The girl has been missing since the 23rd of March, 2024, and her father has been tirelessly searching for her.

An FIR was filed by the father at Vakola Police Station, where he also mentioned a person named Arif Shaikh as a possible suspect. However, the police did not include Arif Shaikh’s name in the FIR. Arif Shaikh is also accused in a POCSO case in Surat, adding to the urgency of finding the missing girl.

Despite the father’s efforts and the seriousness of the case, it has been reported that Senior Police Inspector Prakash Khandekar is not actively focusing on the investigation, causing a delay. This has led to frustration and desperation on the part of the family, as they fear for the safety and well-being of their daughter.

In a bid to pressure the authorities into action, the father has written to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) expressing his intention to go on a ‘Fast Unto Death’ if his daughter is not found soon. The family’s plea for swift action and justice in this matter highlights the need for urgent attention to cases of missing minors.

Religious Tension in Mira Bhayandar: Minors Clash, Sparking Child Safety Concerns

In a disturbing turn of events, religious tensions have escalated in Mumbai’s suburb of Mira-Bhayandar following a series of violent incidents involving minors. The incident, which occurred on the 30th of March, 2024, began innocuously as two minors, one Hindu and one Muslim, were playing a mobile game together.

According to reports, the Muslim minor boy made derogatory remarks about the Hindu faith and abused Hindu Gods, provoking a quarrel between the two. The situation escalated when, a day later, the Muslim minor assaulted another Hindu minor who questioned him about the previous incident.

Subsequently, the Muslim minor, accompanied by five others, allegedly assaulted the first Hindu minor and his brother on separate occasions. The victims sustained injuries and were reportedly beaten severely.

Upon learning of the incidents, the victims’ parents filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Kashigaon Police Station. Due to the age of the individuals involved, their names have been withheld from the public.

This incident has sparked concerns among the local community regarding the safety and security of minors in the area. Authorities are investigating the matter and have assured that appropriate action will be taken against those responsible.

11 year old minor assaulted for saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’, forced to chant ‘Allahu Akbar’ in Mira Road

In a shocking incident captured on CCTV camera, an 11-year-old minor boy was assaulted for greeting a person with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Mira Bhayandar area. The incident unfolded when the minor boy, returning home after buying milk, mistook a person as the building’s security guard, and greeted him with ‘Jai Shri Ram’. This simple gesture led to a violent assault by 5 unknown youngsters, who also forced the minor to chant ‘Allahu Akbar’.

The father of the victim, Sanjay Singh, filed an FIR in the matter, naming five unidentified youths as the assailants. The incident occurred on Monday night, around 9:30 PM, and was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the building.

According to the CCTV footage, the minor boy is seen entering the building after greeting someone with ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Subsequently, he is chased and assaulted by five young men who entered the building.

As per the complaint filed by the victim’s father, the minor mistook the unknown youth for the security guard and greeted him before heading home. However, 5 unknown youmgsters attempted to stop the minor, leading to a confrontation. Soon after, the five youths chased the minor inside the building and physically assaulted him. The minor was also coerced into chanting ‘Allah Hu Akbar’ during the assault.

A resident who witnessed the attack attempted to intervene, but the assailants fled the scene. The victim’s father was immediately informed, and together they reported the incident to the Mira Road police station. An FIR has been registered against the unidentified youths under Sections 448, 295A, 153A, 37, 1C of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act. 

While the police have launched an investigation into the matter, no arrests have been made yet. The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about religious intolerance and communal violence. It underscores the need for swift action to ensure the safety and security of citizens, especially minors, and to uphold the principles of secularism and religious freedom in society.
