SVKM’s Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, has its 21st annual festival called “Law Tryst”– a National Level Competition being held on 21st, 22nd and 23rd of April, 2022. The theme for this year is “Take ’22- Behind the Screens”. The events and competitions will revolve around 

Media & Entertainment Law. To shed light on the legalities that lie behind one’s screen, and to work one’s way through laws that deal with the vast and ever expanding Media and Entertainment Industry. Over the course of three days, a variety of activities and competitions will take place, from fun ones to competitions filled with knowledge. Those attending will be able to take part in the National Moot Court competition, which is a personified courtroom debate. Moot Court – the flagship event, serves as a platform for these budding lawyers to replicate the real courtroom experience. 

With the other flagship event of Model Parliament, the participants will get to experience dramatised versions of the parliamentary arguments. They will be forming their own governments and debating on subjects of national importance and bettering their grasp and understanding of the law. This year Law Tryst, also brings its very first panel discussion- “Law and M&E Conclave” to spark a longer, larger and deep rooted dialogues about your personal perspicacity of tackling Freedom of Speech, interaction with the Press Act to Copyright defamation and other legal contentions. The Panel consists of esteemed lawyers, Journalists, Screenwriters and many more valued dignitaries, to offer their unique perspective on the laws that regulate their industry.Management Events proves to be a platform for the aspiring lawyers to explore the art of Negotiations by working through and trying to resolve a series of legal problems.

The other event named, Client counselling poses as a perfect platform to portray their advocacy skills and display their flare for handling their clients and refine their counselling skills. Law Tryst also gives a stage for all to express their emotions with Literary Arts events. Showcase your understanding of your legal values with the love of writing and playing around with the words in Just-A-Minute. Draftsmanship allows you to exhibit your expertise in legal articulation by the way of drafting. “All work no play makes jack a dull boy” to offer a gateway from the seriousness of the other events, Informal events lets one immerse themselves in fun filled activities like games, puzzles and challenges to help unwind the participants to have a joyous time in Law Tryst ’22.

साधारण पोर्तुगीज हिंदुस्थानात आल्यापसून व्यापार कमी पण धर्म परीवर्तनात जास्त लक्ष घालत होते. अनेक मिशनरी या कामात व्यस्त होत्या. गोव्यापासून संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात त्यांनी धर्म परीवर्तनाचा उच्छाद मांडला होता. हिंदूंवर अनेक अत्याचार घडत होते. छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज व छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांनंतर महाराष्ट्रात तर अतिशय बिकट परीस्थीती उद्भवली होती.

दिवसा ढवळ्या अत्याचार, मंदिरांची तोडफोड होत होती. हिंदू धर्मावर अतिशय जाचक असे कर बसवण्यात आले होते. अगदी देव-देवतांची पूजा सुद्धा चोरून कराव्या लागत होत्या आणि पूजा अर्चा करणार्‍यांवर पाशवी अत्याचार केले जात होते.

बाजीराव पेशवे व त्यांचे धाकटे बंधु चिमाजी आप्पा हे निजाम, मुघल यांना कडवी झुंज देत होते. अगदी त्या परीस्थीतीत सुद्धा बाजीरावांनी फिरंग्यांशी संवाद साधण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. तिथेही त्यांच्या पदरी अपमानच आला. शेवटी बाजीरावांनी त्यांच्या धाकट्या बंधुना पोर्तुगीजांवर धाडले. आणि त्या नंतर चिमाजी आप्पांनी जो पराक्रम गाजवला त्याचे चित्रण महेश नेने प्रॉडक्शन्स लवकरच “चिमाजी आप्पा- एक अविस्मरणीय योद्धा” या चित्रपटाद्वारे तुमच्या समोर आणणार आहेत.

पेशव्यांच्या लढ्यात महत्वाची भूमिका निभावणारे चिमाजी आप्पा हे बाजीराव मस्तानी या सिनेमात नकारात्मक भूमिकेत दाखवल्याने, त्यांच्यावर सिनेमा करणारे  महेश नेने यांनी त्यांचे योग्य स्वरूप आणि त्यांच्या बलिदानाचा इतिहास प्रेक्षकांपुढे मांडणे कसे गरजेचे असल्याचे सांगितले. 

“बाजीराव मस्तानी हा सिनेमा दणक्यात सुरु झाला होता. त्यात संजय लीला भन्साली आणि त्यातील कलाकार व अप्रतिम संगीत म्हटल्यावर त्या सिनेमाला नक्कीच चारचांद लागले असतील अशी माझी खात्री होती. सिनेमातील मस्तानीची दणदणीत एन्ट्री, एका हिंदु राजाने दुसऱ्या हिंदु राजाला केलेली मदत आणि इतर अनेक दृष्य मनाला खरच भावून गेले.”

“चित्रपट पुढे सरकत होता आणि बाजीरावांचे धाकटे बंधु चिमाजी आप्पांची काही दृष्ये डोळ्यासमोर आली आणि तिथेच कुठेतरी सिनेमा वेगळ्या दिशेला भरकटतोय असे मनाला वाटू लागले.”

“चिमाजी आप्पांचे भारदस्त व्यक्तिमत्व त्यांचे पेशवाई मधील मोलाचे योगदान, प्रत्येक लढाईतील त्यांचे महत्व कुठेतरी बाजूला राहुन संपूर्ण नकारात्मक व्यक्तिरेखा समोर दिसू लागली. ज्यांनी १७३७ ते १७३९ या काळात पोर्तुगिजांना कडवी झुंज देऊन वसईचा किल्ला जिंकून पोर्तुगीजांना हद्दपार केले अशा व्यक्तिचे असे संपूर्ण नकारात्मक चित्र पाहून मन विषण्ण झाले. आज चिमाजी आप्पांचे व्यक्तिमत्व जर अशा चुकिच्या स्वरूपात आपण तरुण पिढीपुढे मांडले तर त्यांनी, जे जिवाची पर्वा न करता देशासाठी निस्वार्थी योगदान दिले त्याला काहीच अर्थ राहणार नाही आणि त्याच दिवशी मी ठरविले कि चिमाजी आप्पांचा इतिहास आणि त्यांच्या शौर्याची गाथा लोकांसमोर आणायची आणि त्यांचे पेशवाईतील महत्व लोकांच्या निदर्शनास आणून द्यायचे. हीच खरी त्यांना आणि त्यांनी गाजवलेल्या पराक्रमांना भावपूर्ण श्रध्दांजली ठरेल.”

Finally! The King has also announced to join OTT platforms, but in his style; after all, he is the King of Bollywood, and how can we expect a standard entry from the King?

You must be wondering that SRK is about to do a web series or movie that will be released on OTT, but The King has his ways to make his fans happy.

So, Shahrukh khan has announced that he is going to launch his own OTT platform, and the name of that platform will be SRK+, and the name of four letters is enough to describe that entire platform!

Shahrukh took to social media to announce that he is entering the world of OTT evidently with his platform. Sharing his picture with a logo named ‘SRK+‘, Shah Rukh wrote, “Kuch Kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki Duniya mein.”

Fans started reacting to the news by saying that they were already on their way to subscribing to SRK+. One fan tweeted, “This will be the massive”, and another wrote, “Once a king, always a king”. At the same time, many others are super excited to get this platform launched.

The news of Shah Rukh working in the OTT space first started making the rounds after Disney+Hotstar released promotional videos featuring the actor. The videos showed SRK talking about Hotstar denying his ideas to his manager.

Karan from the movie Karan Arjun had also responded to one of the promotional videos, “Hmmm Swagat nahi karoge SRK ka? Bhaijaan also has an ocean-sized heart, and King & Bhai have been friends for a long time; after this response from Salman Khan, Shah Rukh had reacted to the tweet by saying, “Thanks bhaijaan. Ye bandhan abhi bhi pyaar ka bandhan hai.”

Exactly! “Ye bandhan hamesha pyar ka bandhan rahega”.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took it to his Twitter account and revealed that he would collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan for an OTT project. Besides, the director of Gangs of wasseypur also confirmed that this project would be coming out on SRK’s much-awaited OTT platform SRK+. Anurag said in his tweet, “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+”.

So, this is official now that we will have another OTT platform, and the name will be SRK+ will be released; let’s see when the waiting will come to an end.
